Sasadangon: Sasa Dango Mascot



Sasadangon 笹だんごん, A popular unofficial mascot from Niigata Prefecture, he's a "sasa dango" monster. Sasa dango is a local sweet made of rice cake filled with red bean paste and wrapped in a bamboo leaf.
